For God so loved the world that He gave His one & only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16
The greatest love – “For God so loved the world …”
God didn’t just “love” the world. He “so loved the world.” His love for you is extravagant, intense, & lavish. No person will ever love you like He does.
The greatest sacrifice – “… that He gave His one & only Son …”
Giving is the essence of love. Jesus came to earth for many reasons, but the number one reason was to give His life – to die for our sins.
The greatest offer – “… that whoever believes in Him shall not perish …”
In Jesus, God has made an offer that you can’t afford to refuse. He offers you salvation! No matter who you are, where you’re from, or what you’ve done – all you have to do is believe.
The greatest gift – “… but have eternal life.”
God wants to give you everlasting life. And when you accept that gift, you get your past forgiven, a purpose for living, & a home in heaven.
This Christmas season, remember: God created you, sent His Son to die for you, & offers you the free gift of salvation – & it’s all because He “so loved” you!
