Salt and Light recently published its findings on the State of the Church (SOTC) in Singapore for 2026, a first-ever longitudinal survey of key metrics of church health in Singapore, with the main aim to paint in
broad strokes the Kingdom efforts of the Singapore Church.
It focused on three aspects:
- the overall “health” of the Singapore Church at this juncture,
- each of our church’s situation relative to the whole, &
- the opportunities & constraints facing the Church.
The health of the church was measured through the following categories: (1) general
demography, (2) accessibility, (3) growth, (4) staffing, (5) outlook.
SOTC studies in subsequent years will include both an Annual Survey & a more focused demographic or topical study.
