At our biannual Membership Sunday today, 19 new members were baptised, confirmed or welcomed by transfer. Amongst them were 3 youths and 1 young adult, my first batch of youth membership class. I kind of felt like a proud parent of sorts, though I only joined the church for barely half a year, and was not really part of their formative years, yet to be part of their journey towards publicly confessing their faith, sharing their testimonies and obeying the Great Commission was a joy and privilege of being a pastor-shepherd to the flock God has entrusted to my care.
Praying that they and the others will continue to experience God more and more, knowing, loving and serving Him, and that many more young people would be encouraged and challenged towards baptism, confirmation. To God be the glory!
