About

Why a blog? Blogging used to be more popular at the cross of the millennium, in the early 2000s, but has since been surpassed by other forms of interactive social media. Granted, I too had my own challenges maintaining & keeping up with content, but recently as I shift back & focus more towards academia & research, it has rekindled my love & interest in reading & writing. These basic literary disciplines are increasingly becoming passe & obsolete in a more auditory & visually saturated media world, especially in the digital space.

A child of God, a disciple of Christ, a servant of the gospel.
Greatly blessed, highly favoured, deeply loved.

These 2 statements summarize my life in Christ. I committed my life to Jesus in 1992 at age 15 & have been on this faith journey ever since. I have been serving in full-time Christian ministry since 2003. My main ministries have been in next-gen, missions & Christian education. My passions are in teaching God’s word & discipleship. Currently I am pursuing a doctoral program in Intercultural Studies, focusing on the intersection of church/missions with digital technology & the next-gen.

May this blog & content be a blessing to you on your own journey with the Lord!

Shalom.
