An interesting experiment in Japan conducted by cosmetics maker Pola on 19 mothers who were used to being called “mama” or “mother”. As parents, we should not be simply reduced to our identity as mothers or fathers, to the point that even between husband and wife, we end up calling each other “Daddy/Papa” or “Mummy/Mama”.
