Carlos Acutis, a British-born Italian teenager who died of leukaemia at age 15 in 2006, has been canonised by Pope Leo XIV as the first millennial saint, also known as the “patron saint of the Internet.”
Through his love for technology & his Catholic faith, he created websites documenting Eucharistic miracles as a means of spreading Catholic teaching, leading some to nickname him “God’s influencer.”
